Homemade Chinese Soups. It's Magical!

Pork bone soup with chinese yam and red dates

A pork bone soup made up of red dates, chinese yam and pork ribs. Okay, it is not the nicest sounding name for a soup but it is not easy translating chinese soups.

There are benefits to using bones in soups, namely that they contain calcium ions, which is easily absorbed by the body. For people who are lactose-intolerant, this is a good way to get more calcium into the body.

This is a good soup for people recovering from an illness. It is appetizing with the red dates and chinese yam.
