Soup cookers
How can we do without them?

You can cook many yummy chinese soups with a single large soup pot but there are some kitchen appliances that can make chinese soup making easier. You may even already have some of these soup cookers at home.

They were not specifically designed to cook chinese soups (except the chinese double-boiler but hey, who cares as long as they can do the job.

Let me introduce them:

slowcooker The Slow Cooker
This is like my most favourite pot for making chinese soups, especially long simmering soup.

thermo The Thermal Cooker
The coolest energy saving soup pot. Cooks using trapped heat.

cantonese-double-boiler The Chinese Double Boiler
A neat ceramic soup pot used to cook nourishing tonics by double boiling.
