This mushroom pork congee recipe consists of white rice, chinese mushrooms and pork fillet.
Ingredients
100g pork fillet
5 chinese mushrooms
1 stalks of spring onion
1 cup of rice
8 cups of soup stock
salt and pepper
Directions
- Wash and soak the chinese mushrooms
- Remove the stems and cut into thin strips
- Clean the pork and cut into thin strips
- Wash the spring onion and chop finely
- Wash and soak the rice for 30 minutes
- Place rice in a pot and add the soup stock
- Bring to a boil and cook till porridge is done
- Add the mushroom and pork and cook till done
- Add the salt and pepper
- Sprinkle the chopped spring onion before serving
