I'm not a chef but...

(Sitiawan Malaysia)
3 in 1 soup
Being a Dutchman living in Malaysia, I hardly can say I am expert on Chinese soups (even though write a little about Malaysian food on my pulau-pangkor.com website. However, there is a little thing I CAN say. I live in Sitiawan where my favorite noodle stall has a soup I haven't found anywhere else. And trust me, that means something after being some years on the road in India (hardly soups though), over 2 years China and years in south east Asia.
My noodle shop here serves a mixed soup. Mixed soups are quite popular in Malaysia/Singapore. This one is a mix of h kien mee, laksa and curry mee. In other words, a mix of spicy prawn noodles, curry noodles and laksa.
The funny thing is that I have introduced this noodle stall to a few locals who had never been there and got, like me, addicted on this soup.
I can't tell you the recipe, but I can tell you, if you ever make it here, give me call:)
